Since April 1986, I have served as your Tax Collector,

My responsibility is to collect Real Estate, Motor Vehicle, Personal Property Taxes, Sewer Usage Fees, Sewer Benefit Assessments, and Aircraft Registration Fees, which amounts to just over $17 Million a year.

One of my goals when I became your Tax Collector was to improve our tax collection rate. I have worked to raise the rate to consistently over 99%. A high collection rate helps keep your taxes down.

Our country runs on a two party system. For my years of service as your Tax Collector, I have had the endorsement of the Republican Party for which I am most grateful. This year, I received the endorsement of the Marlborough Democratic Town Committee. Both parties work hard to find and field qualified candidates for public office. It is a worthy calling, and we all benefit when people get involved. As an active participant, I have had the opportunity to observe the development of this town. I have the greatest respect for people who serve the Town of Marlborough.
