Richard A. Shea – Candidate for 2nd Selectman.
Currently serves on the Board of Finance
The economy at all levels continues to be mired in a severe recession, with little sign of improvement. In this climate, it is critical that every taxpayer dollar spent return maximum value. Marlborough must provide for essential services, particularly in the areas of education and public safety, while minimizing costs. I’m confident that the approaches to cost control which I’ve learned in the business world can be applied to local government. I’d appreciate the opportunity to serve.
